Aron Grew up in Saskatchewan and was drawn to Fernie Because of the mountains. The clear water of the Elk River, the beautiful peaks and massive snow falls, inspired the move over 9 years ago to chase a ski dream, however,  it was the  dry fly fishing the creeks and tributaries that solidified the decision to stay. Streamer fishing on his days off for massive bulls and cutty fishing in the evenings after work are his daily routine.   Despite being a licenced commercial Helicopter pilot and accomplished carpenter, Aron prefers to be on the River!   “there’s nothing that can fully shut my brain off like wading into the middle of a river just watching a dry fly float down waiting for a rise”
