Guiding is within the DNA of the McCullough family.  Sean’s grandfather and father were guides and today Sean and his oldest sons have followed in those footsteps.  Sean brings a unique career diversity to guiding.  He spent 25 years in the investment real estate business and, at the same time, developed a passion for training bird dogs and guiding for trout, upland and migratory game birds.  Over the last 20 years Sean was fortunate to have met two important fishing mentors. Paul Samycia helped Sean develop a working understanding of the Elk River and its tributaries while Kevin Watson helped him develop an appreciation of those known, and not so well known, trout streams of Southern Alberta and Montana.  Sean is a hard working guide, he is on time, he is engaged and passionate and will get you into the right place.  He has a value for mentoring and sharing what he has learned about various fishing opportunities as well as methods learned for stalking and catching predatory trout.  Sean is well equipped to help his guests pursue trout with dry fly patterns, nymphs and on streamers.   In addition Sean is happy to share his many stories as well as capture the perfect photo opportunity for his guests.
