Malia has been fishing since she was 7 years old and has worked in the fly shop since 2015, although you could definitely find her hanging out there before that. She grew up in Fernie and learned to fish on the local creeks and rivers with her dad, Paul. She has recently completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology, but despite a possible career change, will still be making regular “celebrity appearances” guiding, teaching lessons, and working in the Fly Shop.
