Friends, Family and FUN. Thank you!

It's hard to believe that it's already October.......wow...how the summer went by faster than I can recollect.

What an amazing summer! Thank you so much to everyone that came in and supported the shop!
We have a new wall of photos with memories to get us through the cold winter.

Well, fishing has been great! Although this morning there is a fresh little layer of white snow on some of the higher mountains. A sign to all us fisherman to get it in while we can.
We have been doing just that, getting out with guests, family and friends to enjoy the great fishing.

Most of the tribs to the Elk are either closed or low; but the Elk River is still fishing great and we are still taking trips down in drift boats. We have been spoiled this fall with some of the best Sept and Oct fishing I have ever had. Ofcourse the mornings are producing a little slower as the temperatures need till about 11:00am to warm up.

I wouldn't say pack' er in, I 'd say pack up the rods and come up for a fall fish on the Elk River.

Within the next week or so, we will be hitting some of the local lakes that are very productive in the fall months. If you've never experienced lake fishing up in the Elk Valley; this is something you need to consider. We are very fortunate to have numerous lakes to choose from right in our back door. Not only are we spoiled with fantastic river fishing; but the lake fishing here is quite the secret. Big Rainbows jumping out of the water like crazy with the backdrop of all the fall colors...ahhh..couldn't be more fun!

So think about it....we have a few river guides that are also phenomenal lake guides and would be excited to have some of you come up and enjoy a day out with them!
