The Elk is dropping fast and we should be good for drifting early next week. The tributaries are clearing up nicely and are almost fish-able. As soon as they slow down a bit they will be worthy of a cast ot two. Until then you may want to try the Crowsnest River or a local lake. The Crow has been high but has good clarity as the outflo from the lake is clear. If you do go wading on the tributaries be careful as it is dangeroud with the higher than average flows.

With the local waters taking their time to shape up we have gone off to fish some other waters that are a bit far for regular guided trips but still on the menu if anyone is interested.
